A well‑regarded and growing law firm in Brighton & Hove is seeking an experienced Senior Private Client Solicitor to join its established and supportive team. The role offers the chance to manage a varied, high‑quality private client caseload while delivering excellent client care and contributing to department development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied private client caseload from inception to completion
• Draft key legal documents and correspondence
• Handle new client enquiries and onboarding
• Attend client meetings and take detailed instructions
• Progress matters efficiently in line with client expectations
• Supervise support staff and ensure smooth file progression
• Maintain strong financial control and compliance
• Provide clients with clear, regular updates throughout their matters
• Manage and safeguard confidential documentation

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor with strong experience in private client law
• Proven ability to manage files independently
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills
• Proactive, client‑focused approach
• Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
• Strong IT skills and experience using case management systems
• Professional and empathetic manner when dealing with clients
