Senior Private Client Solicitor – Private Wealth Team

About the role

The firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its expanding Private Wealth team. Working across the London and Thames Valley offices, you will advise high‑net‑worth individuals and families on complex estate planning, tax structuring and cross‑border matters, while helping shape the practice’s future direction.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on complex wills, trusts and estate planning strategies.
• Design and implement inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning solutions.
• Manage cross‑border estates and multi‑jurisdictional asset structures.
• Establish and administer trusts, including international arrangements.
• Support succession planning for family‑owned and privately held businesses.
• Provide advice on Business Property Relief and other wealth‑transfer strategies.
• Collaborate with corporate teams on shareholder planning, exits and restructurings.
• Handle probate and administration of high‑value estates.
• Build and maintain long‑term, multi‑generational client relationships.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to business‑development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with several years of experience in private client work.
• Proven track record handling high‑value, technically demanding matters.
• Experience with cross‑border and multi‑jurisdictional estate structures.
• Strong client‑facing skills and ability to develop long‑term relationships.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a senior team.
