Senior Private Client Tax Manager

About the role

The firm is a well‑established independent accountancy practice in Milton Keynes seeking a Senior Private Client Tax Manager. You will lead the high‑value private client tax function, working with high‑net‑worth individuals and families on complex tax advisory projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead inheritance tax planning, including the use of Family Investment Companies.
• Manage and ensure compliance of discretionary trust structures.
• Advise on business sales, acquisitions, corporate reorganisations and employee ownership trusts.
• Develop bespoke succession and exit strategies for family‑run enterprises.
• Mentor junior tax professionals and uphold technical excellence across the team.

Required profile

• CTA qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent highly desirable).
• Proven senior experience in private client tax within an accountancy practice.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to grow and retain high‑net‑worth client portfolios.
• Excellent client relationship and service delivery skills.

What we offer

• Salary £75,000‑£85,000 per year, dependent on experience.
