Senior Project Controller – Aerospace & Defence

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Controller to join a high‑profile aerospace and defence programme based in Warton. You will report to the FCAS IMS and SRA Schedule Manager and ensure that schedules, costs, resources and reporting are managed to maintain baseline integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Generate, maintain and report on project schedules.
• Develop resource and cost‑loaded planning.
• Provide Earned Value Management (EVM) support.
• Control costs, produce forecasts and perform variance analysis.
• Forecast cash‑flow and manage budgets.
• Plan resources and manage demand.
• Handle risk, opportunity and change control.
• Analyse performance and produce project reports.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Project Controls.
• Strong scheduling and project control expertise.
• Proven ability to work with cost management, forecasting and integrated reporting.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.

What we offer

• Rate of £26.57 per hour (range £26‑£36).
• 6‑month fixed‑term contract.
• Hybrid working – minimum 3 days onsite (4 preferred).
