Senior Project Manager – ASTI Energy Programme

About the role

Balfour Beatty is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Buildings) to lead delivery across key hubs of the Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment (ASTI) programme, including Peterhead (Netherton). This long‑term, multi‑year position offers scale, complexity and clear career progression within a critical energy infrastructure programme.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project delivery for buildings and enabling works within the ASTI programme.
• Manage complex interfaces with civil, energy and supply‑chain partners.
• Own programme cost, quality, safety and risk at the project level.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary site and project teams.
• Maintain strong client relationships in a regulated energy environment.

Required profile

• Strong experience delivering complex construction projects.
• Comfortable operating in multi‑project / programme environments.
• Proven leadership, commercial awareness and stakeholder management.
• Background in buildings, infrastructure, energy or regulated environments.
