Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure

About the role

Affinity Water is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join its Strategic Resource Options team and lead major water transfer schemes in the South East. These schemes cover new treatment works and strategic infrastructure, and the role involves taking ownership of key elements of the projects from early development through to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex infrastructure projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Manage scope, budget, programme, risk and governance.
• Act as the company's intelligent client, ensuring high-quality, value-driven outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with regulators, partners and stakeholders.
• Oversee consultants and contractors to ensure safe, efficient delivery.
• Provide leadership across multi-disciplinary project teams.

Required profile

• Experience delivering major infrastructure projects.
• Background in clean water, wastewater, utilities or another regulated environment.
• Strong commercial and contract management skills, including NEC contracts.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Confidence to challenge, influence and drive delivery, with a collaborative approach.

What we offer

• Salary of £54,000 - £67,000 depending on skills and experience.
