Senior Project Manager

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager you will ensure effective delivery of projects, meeting established goals for time, cost and quality. The role is performed as a SQEP resource, providing a single point of contact for the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a portfolio of projects of varying value and complexity.
• Maintain financial performance and manage project risk.
• Lead customer and stakeholder reviews, progress meetings and negotiations with subcontractors.
• Drive efficiency and best practice, aligning local processes where possible.
• Identify issues that could impact the project baseline and implement risk‑mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Degree in Project Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager on a nuclear or highly regulated site.
• Strong understanding of planning, risk and cost management at program and project levels.
• Familiarity with stage‑gate delivery principles and risk‑management techniques.

Required skills

• Confident oral and written communication with external stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to independently resolve challenging technical questions.
• Strong organisational skills to meet internal and external deadlines and exceed client expectations.
