Senior Project Manager

About the role

A consultancy and project management client based in Weybridge is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its growing team. The role leads complex projects from inception to completion, delivering them within agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards, while managing stakeholders, coordinating project teams and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, delivery and completion of multiple projects
• Manage project budgets, timelines, resources and risk management
• Act as primary contact for clients, stakeholders and project teams
• Develop detailed project plans and progress reports
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues and potential delays
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and internal and external resources
• Monitor performance and report regularly to senior stakeholders
• Manage change control and project governance
• Support business development and identify future work
• Mentor junior project managers and share best practice

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager, Project Manager or equivalent
• Proven track record managing complex projects from start to finish
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Relevant project management qualification (PRINCE2, APMP, PMP or equivalent) desirable

Required skills

• Experience managing project budgets, programmes and resources
• Strong risk management and problem-solving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Commercial awareness and results-driven approach

What we offer

• Salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
