Senior Project Manager – Security Cleared (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with Security Clearance to join our hybrid team based at our Reading headquarters. The role blends traditional project management with responsibilities within our IT Project Management Office, supporting defence‑related initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document business requirements to create realistic project plans.
• Manage capital and operational expenditure forecasts and support budget control.
• Assess and align business opportunities with organisational processes and strategic plans.
• Communicate progress, risks and updates to stakeholders across the business.
• Monitor schedule performance and provide insights to senior leadership.
• Lead and develop project teams, ensuring delivery aligns with governance standards.

Required profile

• Current Security Clearance (non‑negotiable).
• Extensive project management and PMO experience with defence or military clients.
• Certified Project Manager (PMP, APM PMQ, MAPM or equivalent).

Required skills

• Familiarity with IT Service Management frameworks such as ITIL.
• Process design, management and governance experience.
