Senior Quality Manager

About the role

As Senior Quality Manager you will be accountable for leading the Quality Systems, certifications, Quality Engineering and Manufacturing Quality Control functions across the business. You will shape and execute the quality strategy, ensuring robust operational assurance and continuous improvement to meet demanding aerospace and defence requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and maintain the overall quality strategy and certification framework.
• Lead quality engineering and manufacturing quality control activities to guarantee product safety and performance.
• Monitor, analyse and improve quality performance metrics to drive operational excellence.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational quality matters, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Motivate, develop and manage a high‑performing quality team.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in quality management within aerospace, defence or related high‑technology sectors.
• Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and capable of working autonomously.
• Demonstrated success delivering projects within structured project‑management environments.
• Strong understanding of continuous improvement principles and Lean methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
