Senior Radiology Staff Nurse – Interventional Radiology

About the role

The Imaging Service at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital seeks a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join the Interventional Radiology (IR) team. You will support clinicians, contribute to teaching and research, and help maintain the department’s UKAS QSI Accreditation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing care for a wide range of IR procedures.
• Support clinicians with interpretation, advice and rapid service delivery.
• Participate in teaching activities and research initiatives.
• Maintain high‑quality standards within the accredited management system.
• Fulfil on‑call duties and manage overtime in line with trust policies.

Required profile

• Experience in IR, cath‑lab, theatre, recovery, sedation, anaesthetic or pain‑management nursing.
• Desire to develop leadership skills and take on senior responsibilities.
• Commitment to patient‑centred care and continuous professional development.
