Senior Regional Maintenance Person

About the role

Glenholme Specialist Healthcare is looking for an experienced Regional Maintenance Person to join its Estates Team, covering Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. The role supports specialist care services by keeping buildings and grounds safe, compliant, functional and well presented.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks within your competence, including plumbing, carpentry, decorating, general repairs and electrical maintenance.
• Complete health and safety and fire safety checks.
• Carry out regional maintenance visits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Review maintenance documentation and submit reports to the Estates Manager.
• Maintain high standards across buildings and grounds, manage maintenance stock and supplies, and identify and escalate specialist works when required.
• Occasional out-of-hours on-call duties.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property healthcare maintenance or the building trades.
• Practical, proactive and reliable approach; good health and safety awareness and IT skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
• Relevant trade qualifications and experience in specialist care or supported living are desirable.
