Senior Rental Technician – HVAC & Refrigeration

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Rental Technician to join a leading manufacturing and engineering organisation in the Hampshire area. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of HVAC and commercial refrigeration equipment, ensuring optimal performance for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair products and equipment across assigned projects.
• Diagnose system issues and deliver effective, timely solutions.
• Work on chillers and commercial refrigeration units to ensure optimum performance.
• Carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance on plant systems and associated equipment.
• Provide high‑quality, professional customer service in a cost‑effective manner.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to communicate technical findings.
• Use diagnostic software, hand tools, blueprints and technical specifications to complete tasks.
• Maintain servicing tools, equipment and PPE in good working condition at all times.

Required profile

• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Several years of experience in the HVAC sector.
• F‑Gas qualification.
• Practical experience with chillers and/or commercial refrigeration systems.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Strong customer‑focused mindset with professionalism, reliability and attention to detail.
• Flexibility, initiative and a proactive approach to task completion.
