Senior Service Advisor – Automotive Dealership

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Service Advisor to join a reputable automotive dealership in Crawley. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their vehicles receive timely service while delivering a premium customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and by phone, providing courteous and professional service.
• Book, schedule and manage vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance using the dealership management system.
• Prepare and verify repair orders, ensuring accuracy and detailed documentation.
• Conduct vehicle check‑ins, record condition and customer requirements, and keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
• Obtain customer approval for any additional work and clearly explain repair recommendations.
• Liaise with technicians, workshop controllers and parts staff to ensure smooth workshop operations.
• Arrange vehicle collections, deliveries and handovers efficiently.
• Review vehicle history to identify preventative maintenance opportunities.
• Support daily departmental operations and perform administrative duties as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor within a motor dealership, preferably with commercial vehicles.
• Strong communication and customer‑care abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of warranty procedures and dealership processes is desirable.
