Senior Software Developer

About the role

Framestore’s award‑winning Technology team is expanding and seeks a Senior Software Developer to design and deliver modern cloud‑based AI and prompt data pipelines. You will work in a hybrid model, collaborating closely with ML/AI, pipeline and production teams to enhance our advertising and brand‑management products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop modern pipelines and services for prompt and AI media workflows, extending existing pipelines.
• Ship secure, scalable, and maintainable Python services on Google Cloud Platform.
• Design robust data solutions for versioning, tracking, and observing pipeline data.
• Collaborate with pipeline teams, artists, and the ML/AI department.
• Implement useful metrics and security measures for new features.
• Explore AI techniques to assist code and media generation where appropriate.
• Champion Agile practices, including code review, continuous delivery, and test‑driven development.
• Mentor peers and teams in AI techniques and modern best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience building data and workflow solutions, preferably in a VFX pipeline.
• Strong background in Python backend development and web services.
• Deep understanding of modern Agile software development, continuous delivery, code review and TDD.
• Ability to solve problems independently and produce high‑quality code without over‑reliance on AI tools.
• Excellent communication skills, a mentorship mindset, and a proactive approach to personal and team growth.
