Senior Software Engineering Manager

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineering Manager you will lead a cross‑functional group of engineering teams to design, develop and integrate software features that directly impact credit‑card consumers. You will coach engineering managers, collaborate with product and design, and help shape the platform strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Support 3‑4 engineering teams in delivering high‑impact software features.
• Coach and nurture engineering managers to build empowered, high‑performing teams.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers on roadmap and key business goals.
• Provide stewardship of the platform and owned capabilities.
• Contribute to engineering leadership by defining and adopting best practices.
• Lead cultural development, vision setting, and execution within your teams.
• Identify and drive change across the business beyond your immediate team.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multi‑disciplinary engineering teams to achieve business objectives.
• Ability to balance short‑term technical trade‑offs with long‑term business needs.
• Passion for recruiting, developing, and retaining top engineering talent.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across engineering and maximize inner‑sourcing.
