Senior Solution Engineer - Global Accounts

At Snowflake we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise, seeking AI‑native thinkers who treat AI as a high‑trust collaborator. We are hiring a Senior Solution Engineer dedicated to one of Snowflake's most strategically important financial‑services customers, focusing on a single global financial institution.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end technical relationship for a strategic global account, from discovery through proof of concept, technical close and ongoing expansion.
• Build and deliver compelling demonstrations, solution architectures and executive presentations that map Snowflake’s platform to financial‑services data and AI priorities.
• Design and lead PoC engagements covering risk analytics, regulatory data platforms, real‑time fraud detection, customer intelligence and AI/ML workloads.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on financial‑services data architecture, translating complex regulatory and technical requirements into production‑ready Snowflake solutions.
• Partner with the Account Executive as the sole technical owner, co‑developing success plans and ensuring alignment across opportunities.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in pre‑sales solution engineering, technical consulting or data engineering with significant exposure to financial‑services customers.
• Deep understanding of financial‑services data use cases such as risk management, regulatory reporting (Basel, MiFID II, GDPR), market data, fraud analytics and AI/ML for credit and customer intelligence.
• Proven track record of leading complex technical evaluations, winning competitive PoCs and building lasting technical relationships with strategic enterprise accounts.

Required skills

• Hands‑on expertise with cloud data platforms, ideally Snowflake.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with data‑engineering tools such as dbt, Spark, Kafka (or equivalents).
• Familiarity with AI/LLM‑based tools and Snowflake Cortex AI capabilities.
• Knowledge of real‑time data architectures, streaming ingestion and event‑driven platforms in regulated environments.
