Senior Store Assistant (Keyholder)

About the role

A Toolstation in Brixton is looking for a Senior Store Assistant (Keyholder) working 20 hours per week. The store is open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so early starts and late finishes are required. Candidates should live locally and be able to commute easily. The role combines customer service with hands-on delivery, warehouse and stocking work, and includes opening and closing the store and short-term supervisory cover.

Key responsibilities

• Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean and prepare orders
• Provide excellent service to customers, including selling the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts and signing customers up
• Open and close the store, assign daily tasks to the team and give short-term supervisory cover

Required profile

• Experience as a key holder or supervising team members; retail experience is not essential
• Ability to work hard and positively, with flexibility and reliability
• Local resident who can commute to the store
