Senior Technical Coordinator

About the role

Hill Group UK is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Coordinator to lead technical coordination on large residential and commercial developments. The role acts as the main technical liaison between internal teams, contractors, consultants and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical coordination from inception to completion, ensuring designs comply with regulations, budgets and schedules.
• Work closely with architects, engineers and consultants to manage design development and integrate changes across the project.
• Provide technical guidance to Project Managers, Site Managers and Surveyors, resolving design‑related issues during construction.
• Oversee production and review of detailed technical documentation, including drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, contractors, statutory bodies and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• HND/Degree or equivalent in Construction, Architecture, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical coordination within residential or commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, design standards and relevant regulations.
• Proven ability to manage design teams, subcontractors and consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Required skills

• Proficiency with technical drawing software such as AutoCAD.
• Experience using project management tools.
