Senior Technical Support Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a global leader in laboratory water purification and environmental technologies to find a Senior Technical Support Engineer. The successful candidate will deliver advanced technical assistance to customers across the UK and internationally, combining troubleshooting, installations, validation and training while travelling up to 20% of the time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced support for sophisticated laboratory water purification systems, diagnosing mechanical, electronic and control issues.
• Perform installations, commissioning and system validation at customer sites.
• Deliver technical training to end‑users and global partners.
• Contribute to product testing, documentation and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Travel nationally and internationally, with trips lasting up to ten days.

Required profile

• Degree or higher qualification in Mechanical, Chemical, Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience repairing, servicing or supporting complex electro‑mechanical or laboratory instrumentation.
• Background in water purification, water treatment or laboratory equipment.
• Strong fault‑finding abilities using diagnostic tools such as multimeters.
• Excellent customer‑facing communication skills and willingness to travel abroad.
