Senior Voids Surveyor

About the role

Peabody is seeking an experienced Senior Voids Surveyor to lead the delivery of high‑quality void works across Oxford, Reading and Northamptonshire. You will be responsible for ensuring homes are safe, compliant and ready for new residents as quickly as possible while supporting a collaborative repairs team.

Key responsibilities

• Take full accountability for void works in your area, managing quality, cost and delivery timelines.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑inspections to verify that works meet lettable standards.
• Lead, mentor and support Assistant Surveyors to drive high performance.
• Manage contractors, monitor performance against KPIs and ensure value for money.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain clear communication and service delivery.
• Monitor budgets and uphold health, safety and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Confident building surveying professional with strong leadership experience.
• Customer‑focused, organised and able to manage a complex caseload.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented and capable of working under pressure.
• Relevant qualification – Degree or HND/HNC in Building Surveying, Building Pathology or related discipline.
