SEO Manager – European Sports Direct Sites

About the role

The SEO Manager will own the strategy, performance and execution of SEO for Sports Direct’s European websites. Reporting to the Sports SEO Lead in the UK and managing an SEO executive, you will work with external partners such as Botify and Pi‑datametrics to grow organic traffic and revenue across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver the SEO roadmap for EU sites, prioritising high‑impact projects.
• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues (crawlability, indexation, page performance).
• Conduct local keyword research and market insight analysis to guide content localisation.
• Monitor, benchmark and optimise SEO KPIs across European markets.
• Produce regular performance reports on traffic, rankings and revenue growth.
• Analyse search trends to uncover new growth opportunities.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry best practices and share tools and techniques internally.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in an SEO‑focused role, preferably within an eCommerce environment.
• Proven track record of owning and delivering SEO strategies that drive organic traffic and revenue.
• Data‑driven and performance‑oriented mindset.
