SEO Manager – Flexible Hybrid Role

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional SEO Manager to join our SEO team. The role offers the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors while working in a hybrid model (two days remote, three days in the office) from our Nottingham or Manchester office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client strategy, contribute to new business pitches and develop pitch materials.
• Line‑manage one junior team member, providing coaching, regular 1‑2‑1s and performance feedback.
• Oversee SEO project delivery, reporting, and client communications.
• Conduct technical SEO audits, including site architecture, URL structure, sitemaps, internal linking, crawl errors, JavaScript rendering, indexing issues, page speed and performance.
• Collaborate with developers to implement SEO best practices, schema markup, structured data and site migrations.
• Monitor performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs and other SEO platforms, and present insights to clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing SEO projects and client relationships.
• Ability to lead and develop junior team members.
• Strong communication skills for pitching and presenting strategies.
• Proactive mindset to identify performance opportunities and address issues early.
