SEP WCA Nurse – Hybrid Functional Assessor

About the role

As a Nurse Functional Assessor you will use your clinical expertise to evaluate how a person’s disability or health condition impacts their daily life. You will work on complex cases that involve both physical and mental health conditions, as well as chronic pain disorders, while receiving a tailored training programme and ongoing mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Assess customers’ health and disability needs and produce detailed reports.
• Work with complex cases covering physical, mental health and chronic pain.
• Use computer software to document assessments and communicate findings.
• Participate in formal training and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Valid NMC registration number.
• Minimum 1 year of post‑registration adult or mental health nursing experience.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship offered).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software for reporting.

Required skills

• Computer software proficiency for report writing.
