Service Advisor – Automotive Dealership

About the role

We are looking for a customer‑focused Service Advisor to join a busy automotive dealership in Wokingham. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth, high‑quality service experience while supporting the after‑sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their service and repair needs, and book vehicles into the workshop.
• Prepare job cards, maintain accurate customer records and manage daily workshop schedules.
• Provide regular updates to customers throughout the service process.
• Liaise with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of work.
• Explain completed work, associated costs and recommend additional services where appropriate.
• Process invoices, coordinate vehicle handovers and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with a positive, professional attitude.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
