Service Advisor – Automotive Service

About the role

As a Service Advisor you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their vehicles are serviced or repaired correctly the first time. You will combine technical vehicle knowledge with strong communication skills to drive sales of value‑added services and build long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in line with the Porsche Service Process.
• Communicate technical information effectively to upsell services and meet departmental targets.
• Manage workshop repairs, provide regular updates to customers, and allocate work to Service Technicians.
• Handle Direct Dialogue interactions, service requirements and upsell according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Assist showroom customers with bookings, accessory sales and manage overflow bookings.
• Confirm booking details, allocate vehicles and keys on site, and prepare service invoices with technical explanations.
• Ensure compliance with RICS, Warranty Audit, FCA and complete required training and accreditations.

Required profile

• Full UK driver’s licence.
• Dealership experience with an understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
• Ability to apply FCA principles of Treating Customers Fairly.
• Strong focus on meeting customer needs and delivering satisfaction.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Confidence to upsell services and products when appropriate.

• Basic salary £36,000 per annum plus an annual bonus up to 35%.
