Service Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Service Advisor to join a leading premium automotive retailer in Cheltenham. You will be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through the entire service journey from vehicle drop‑off to collection.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and manage their service experience from arrival to handover.
• Book vehicles for servicing and repairs, checking history, recalls, warranties and service plans.
• Coordinate with workshop, parts and sales teams to ensure timely completion of work.
• Communicate progress updates and obtain approval for any additional work.
• Arrange courtesy cars, loan vehicles and customer travel as needed.
• Explain completed work and invoices clearly during vehicle handover.
• Maintain up‑to‑date manufacturer product knowledge through ongoing training.
• Follow all legal and company procedures to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience as a Service Advisor in the motor trade.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• High attention to detail and a proactive, customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
