Service Charge Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Service Charge Analyst to join a leading national Housing Association. The role blends data analysis with on‑site inspections to ensure service charges are applied fairly, accurately and transparently across our housing portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate service charge schedules against tenancy agreements, leases, asset hierarchies and occupancy records.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify genuine errors and resolve over‑ or under‑charging issues.
• Visit housing schemes nationwide to verify assets, assess service delivery and confirm that system data matches on‑site realities.
• Collaborate with Housing, Finance, Asset Management and external contractors to maintain accurate billing and improve processes.
• Produce reports and analysis that support decision‑making, enhance transparency and ensure compliance with leasehold and tenancy obligations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing or analysing service charges within the housing sector.
• Strong understanding of tenancy agreements, leasehold obligations and asset hierarchies.
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly.
• Willingness to travel to multiple housing sites as required.
