Service Engineer – Compressed Air Systems

About the role

Our client in Witham is seeking a reliable Service Engineer to support a customer base of compressed air and electrical industrial compressed air products. You will report to the Service/Engineering Manager and spend most of your time on client sites, providing high‑quality maintenance, repair and installation services.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on compressed air equipment to a high standard.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment.
• Install, commission and install compressed air pipework for new systems.
• Produce detailed service reports and identify required spare parts.
• Maintain test and inspection instruments, including testing and recertification.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and good engineering practice at all times.
• Promote the company’s brand positively while travelling to client sites.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an electrical or mechanical role; experience in compressed air is advantageous but not essential.
• Mechanical and electrical qualification (or equivalent on‑the‑job experience).
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Good computer literacy and familiarity with electrical devices.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑5:00 pm.
