Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Service Technician and MOT Tester to join our workshop team at Snows Toyota in Honiton. The role involves delivering high‑quality vehicle servicing, repairs and MOT testing in line with Toyota’s technical standards while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled vehicle services, diagnostics and repairs following brand technical standards.
• Carry out MOT tests and issue certificates in compliance with legal requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
• Interact directly with customers to explain work performed and provide advice.
• Support and mentor less‑experienced colleagues.
• Participate in regular training to keep technical knowledge up to date.

Required profile

• Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ qualification.
• Previous experience working in a franchise dealership.
• Qualified MOT Tester.
• Strong ability to diagnose vehicle faults.
• Team‑oriented with a commitment to first‑class customer service.
• Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
