Service Technician, Used Cars

About the role

As a Service Technician for used cars in Manchester, you will perform repairs and maintenance on Tesla vehicles using specialised software and advanced tools. You will work in a fast‑paced, inclusive environment, supporting the mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service, repair and improvement tasks on all Tesla vehicle models, following Tesla‑specific software and tools.
• Complete repairs efficiently while exceeding quality and productivity expectations.
• Diagnose and fix common and some complex repairs autonomously.
• Inspect vehicles thoroughly before return and pre‑delivery to ensure “right‑first‑time” quality.
• Collaborate with local and regional teams, sharing best practices to enhance the service experience.
• Participate in in‑house training and share knowledge to develop technical skills across the team.

Required profile

• Professional experience performing vehicle service and repairs in automotive, aviation, marine or similar industries.
• Relevant UK certification to carry out vehicle repairs.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence held for at least two years.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, mornings and evenings, and travel when required.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
