About the role
This role is ideal for a developer with solid ServiceNow platform experience who enjoys building high-quality solutions, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and continuously developing technical skills. You will work alongside engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to deliver new capabilities and enhancements across our ServiceNow platform.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, configure and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Translate functional requirements into technical solutions, with support from senior engineers.
- Build, test and deploy platform enhancements following established engineering practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts and fellow engineers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, refinement and retrospectives.
- Support integration development using REST/SOAP APIs where required.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis and resolve production defects.
- Contribute to code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- Produce clear technical documentation for delivered solutions.
Required profile
- Previous experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
- Hands‑on experience developing Service Portal solutions.
- Strong JavaScript development skills.
- Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts and UI Policies.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience working within an Agile delivery environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Exposure to ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) module.
What we offer
- Hybrid working (central London office and remote).
- Full‑time temporary contract via agency (PAYE) with potential extension or permanent placement.
- Salary £40‑42 per hour (equivalent to approx £80,000 per annum).
- 37.5‑hour work week.
