Shift Equipment Engineer – Semiconductor Etch

About the role
The Shift Equipment Engineer will keep Etch equipment running smoothly in a clean‑room environment, supporting the microLED manufacturing process. You will work closely with Process Engineers to maximise uptime, ensure product quality and continuously improve equipment performance.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, repair and fault‑finding on a wide range of semiconductor electronic equipment.
- Perform equipment qualification to verify performance and safety standards.
- Act as an active member of the site Emergency Response Team.
- Support critical equipment areas including product loading/unloading, process monitoring and improvement activities.
- Deliver project work and continuous‑improvement initiatives as directed by the team leader.
Required profile
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant technical apprenticeship.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance, repair and fault‑finding on electrical, electronic or mechanical equipment.
