Shift Manager - Restaurant, Bedford

About the role

Taco Bell is looking for a Shift Manager in Bedford, Bedfordshire, to lead shifts with energy and passion and uphold the brand's high standards. The manager takes charge of the team, resolves customer concerns so guests leave satisfied, coaches and guides Team Members and works with the management team on business initiatives. Key responsibilities

• Run the MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine and prioritise customer needs
• Check that Shift Excellence tasks are completed and that Team Members look clean and neat
• Ensure food safety, order quality and accuracy
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and give regular, constructive feedback to Team Members
• Take part in training Team Members and help resolve conflicts with the GM
• Assist the GM in screening candidates, profit and loss management, cash control, security, inventory and labour
• Oversee product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking and holding times
• Help with facility maintenance and keep health and safety standards

Required profile

• At least 1 year of restaurant or retail experience; 3 months of shift lead experience preferred
• Dependable transport and excellent attendance and punctuality
• Communication, management, leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to operate a cash register and make change for other cashiers
