Short Range Planner

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and analytical Short Range Planner to join our Planning Team at Whitman Laboratories. You will develop and manage short‑term production plans, support excellent customer service levels and help optimise inventory across our prestige beauty manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide short‑term planning support for assigned work centres and develop production plans in line with tactical guidelines.
• Communicate plans to Scheduling and Production teams, coordinate external production activities and ensure customer demand is met efficiently.
• Support customer service targets, raise inter‑company orders, and participate in daily scheduling, weekly production and supply planning meetings.
• Own supply attainment performance, identify capacity constraints and work with Work Centre Managers and Materials Planning to optimise output.
• Maintain planning master data (MOQ, EPQ, run rates, MRP controllers, etc.) and manage product phase‑in/phase‑out activities.
• Monitor inventory levels for intermediates and finished goods, handle deviations, quality notifications and rework orders.

Required profile

• Experience with SAP APO or a comparable planning system.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to manage and analyse large volumes of data accurately.
• Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise multiple tasks.
