Site Agent – Construction Management in Aberdeen

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Agent to lead multi‑disciplinary construction teams on a project based in Aberdeen. The role combines site leadership, health and safety oversight, and commercial management to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and mentor section teams, managing performance and training needs.
• Set and monitor health, safety and environment targets, conduct risk reviews and safety tours.
• Allocate resources, interpret technical drawings and oversee quality management systems.
• Analyse and update programmes, manage subcontractor performance and run Short Interval Control meetings.
• Produce financial forecasts, manage cost plans and support subcontractor procurement.
• Maintain accurate documentation for handover and self‑certification.

Required profile

• Valid CSCS Card, SMSTS qualification and full UK driving licence.
• Proven experience managing infrastructure works, pavement reconstruction and project handovers.
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts or similar and ability to track performance against budgets.
• Demonstrated leadership of multi‑disciplinary teams with a strong safety focus.
• Flexibility to work nights or unsociable hours as project programmes dictate.
