Senior Project Engineer - Lifting Solutions

About the role

EnerMech, a specialist service company delivering safe, integrated solutions for complex energy projects, has a new Senior Project Engineer vacancy in its Lifting Solutions team in Aberdeen. You will help deliver projects efficiently and on time, control budgets and other deliverables, and may handle several projects at once. Client site or offshore visits may be required.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver assigned projects efficiently and on time to stakeholders, maximising the potential for EnerMech
• Liaise with clients from the initial enquiry to formulate technical requirements and influence them toward the best solution
• Control projects in terms of deliverables and budgets
• Coordinate technical, supply chain and project control activities to meet client and EnerMech project management requirements
• Support bids and tendering with input as required
• Maintain and grow customer relationships
• Provide project reporting to clients and EnerMech management
• Control and communicate changes such as budgets, work scope, delivery dates and risks through company processes

Required profile

• Experience running multidisciplinary projects, identifying problems proactively and offering solutions
• Strong time management, communication and organisational skills to keep project schedules
• Minimum HND in a relevant engineering discipline; an engineering degree and project management qualification are preferred but not essential
• Experience on crane and lifting projects is ideal but not essential
