Site Manager – Commercial & Leisure Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of commercial and leisure construction schemes across Hampshire and West Sussex. The role will cover projects valued between £1 million and £5 million, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations from mobilisation to handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and on‑site labour to meet programme milestones.
• Drive progress, resolve issues promptly and maintain momentum on the build.
• Monitor workmanship, quality and compliance with specifications.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular health‑and‑safety inspections.
• Prepare short‑term programmes, look‑ahead plans and manage site‑based risks.
• Handle snagging, handover and final completion processes.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants and the wider delivery team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager for a main contractor.
• Background delivering commercial and/or leisure projects.
• Experience managing schemes in the £1 m‑£5 m range.
• Strong understanding of site operations, programme management and health‑and‑safety legislation.
