Site Supervisor Manager – Secondary School (Croydon)

About the role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Site Supervisor Manager to run the day‑to‑day operations of a busy secondary school serving pupils aged 11‑18. The role ensures the premises are safe, secure and well maintained, supporting a welcoming learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running of the school site.
• Manage the premises team and coordinate cleaning schedules.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and conduct regular checks.
• Supervise contractors and manage planned and reactive maintenance.
• Maintain site security and oversee security procedures.
• Coordinate cleaning, maintenance and facilities schedules.
• Support the smooth operation of the school for staff, pupils and visitors.

Required profile

• Previous experience in school site or facilities management.
• Proven ability to lead a site team.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation.
• Experience managing contractors and maintenance programmes.
• Ability to work full‑time and start immediately.
• Convenient commute to Croydon.
