Site Supervisor – South-West England (Civil Engineering)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead civil engineering, groundworks and external works projects across the South‑West of England. You will work closely with Contracts Managers, subcontractors and clients to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities and coordinate the work of operatives and subcontractors.
• Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring RAMS are followed on every project.
• Monitor productivity of a small workforce and manage site resources.
• Ensure works are completed on programme, to specification and to company quality standards.
• Carry out manual site tasks as required and report progress to management.

Required profile

• Mathematics and English qualification (or equivalent).
• Valid SSSTS certificate (training can be provided for the right candidate).
• Appropriate CSCS or CPCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• First Aid at Work certification is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures on construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret project specifications and RAMS.
• Leadership and organisational abilities to manage a small team.
