SOC Analyst (Level 1) – Graduate Opportunity

About the role

We are looking for recent graduates who are eager to start a career in cyber security. As a SOC Analyst (Level 1) you will join a Security Operations Centre and gain hands‑on experience protecting enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using enterprise SIEM platforms.
• Support the triage and escalation of potential security incidents.
• Follow structured runbooks and incident‑response procedures.
• Document incident notes and produce basic reports.
• Learn how real‑world cyber‑attacks are identified and handled.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to develop technical expertise.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (or early‑career professional) with a degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Strong interest in cyber security and a desire to build a long‑term career.
• Eager to learn in a fast‑paced, 24/7 shift environment.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of Security Operations Centre concepts and incident lifecycle.
• Familiarity with common cyber threats such as malware, phishing, brute‑force and unauthorized access.
• Networking fundamentals (IP, ports, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
• Windows and Linux operating‑system basics.
• Awareness of endpoint security, network security and identity‑access‑management concepts.
• Exposure to SIEM tools and log‑analysis techniques (preferred).
