Social Housing Repairs Supervisor (16‑week contract)

About the role

This 16‑week contract position is for a Reactive Repairs Supervisor working with a leading contractor in the social housing sector. You will lead a team that responds to urgent maintenance requests, ensuring safe and comfortable homes for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians and external contractors.
• Inspect properties, identify repair needs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Allocate work orders, schedule repairs and manage daily activities.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used and costs incurred.
• Monitor budgets, recommend cost‑effective solutions and report progress to management.
• Build positive relationships with residents and address their concerns promptly.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; further qualifications in maintenance management are a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in social housing or property maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, repair and renovation processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
