Social Media & Community Manager

About the role

DeMellier is looking for a Social Media & Community Manager to bring its ethical luxury handbag brand to life online. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will own the brand’s social presence across multiple platforms, create engaging content and nurture an active community that reflects the company’s purpose‑driven values.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activity on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Facebook, planning, scheduling and publishing content in line with the brand calendar.
• Write on‑brand copy and collaborate with Creative and Marketing teams to produce social‑first assets for product launches and campaigns.
• Identify and execute trend‑led or reactive content opportunities to boost reach and engagement.
• Develop and deliver authentic, story‑driven social content that aligns with DeMellier’s identity.
• Respond to comments, direct messages and other customer interactions promptly, building relationships with followers, creators and brand advocates.
• Support integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring social output meets broader commercial objectives and is informed by data‑driven insights.

• Creative mindset combined with a data‑driven approach to social performance.
• Ability to work closely with Creative, PR and Marketing teams to maximise content opportunities.
• Strong understanding of current social media trends and emerging platforms.
• Excellent written communication that matches DeMellier’s tone of voice.
