Social Media Content Creator – Food & Nutrition (UK)

About the role

Vilgain is a fast‑growing food, nutrition and wellness brand looking for a creative Social Media Content Creator to shape its UK voice across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short‑form platforms. You will turn everyday food and nutrition topics into engaging videos that educate, entertain and inspire the audience.

Key responsibilities

• Generate social‑first content ideas and formats tailored to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and similar platforms.
• Transform food, wellness, lifestyle and product topics into short‑form videos that drive engagement.
• Identify UK and global trends, viral products and creator formats, adapting them into brand‑relevant content.
• Write hooks, scripts and talking points that feel native to each platform.
• Support product launches, taste tests, ingredient education, recipes, myth‑busting and brand storytelling.
• Participate in shoots, voice‑overs and on‑camera segments when required.
• Ensure all content is accurate, easy to understand and entertaining.
• Monitor performance metrics and use insights to refine future content.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and online culture.
• Proven ability to create content that captures attention, drives engagement and delivers measurable results.
• Natural awareness of trends, creator formats, hooks and editing styles.
• Genuine interest in food, nutrition, wellness and consumer products.
• Confidence appearing on camera when the format calls for it.
• Creative, proactive and able to work independently.
• Experience with food, nutrition, wellness, fitness or lifestyle brands is a plus.

Required skills

• Content ideation, scripting and storytelling for short‑form video.
• End‑to‑end video production, including shooting, editing and publishing.
• Trend spotting and rapid adaptation to platform‑specific formats.
