Social Media Executive

About the role

BoohooMAN is looking for a Social Media Executive to join its fast‑moving digital team in Manchester. You will work closely with the Brand and Social Media Manager to shape and execute the brand’s social strategy across multiple platforms, helping to grow the audience and drive traffic to the website.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Brand and Social Media Manager in creating, planning and delivering social media calendars for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and YouTube.
• Schedule and publish creative and trade‑related content, ensuring each platform receives tailored messaging and tone.
• Plan, shoot and edit iPhone‑captured, social‑first content during campaign shoots.
• Maintain fresh, engaging assets on all channels by coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
• Monitor performance metrics, report on KPIs and suggest optimisation to increase follower growth and sales.

Required profile

• A passion for social media with a deep understanding of platform nuances.
• Strong visual sense and ability to produce on‑the‑go content.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic retail environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and YouTube.
• Basic photo and video capture using a smartphone.
• Content scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite) and basic editing software.
