Software Architect – Platform & Cloud Architecture

About the role

We are seeking a senior Software Architect to bring structure, coherence and long‑term direction to a complex platform environment. Working across engineering, product, infrastructure and security teams, you will shape architectural standards and guide technical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Define architectural principles, standards and target‑state designs for software platforms, services and cloud systems.
• Support platform consolidation, reduce duplication and establish clear service boundaries.
• Review major technical changes, guide solution design and ensure security, resilience, observability and scalability are built in.
• Identify architectural risks, technical debt and platform constraints.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership on strategic technical decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software architecture within SaaS, product or platform‑led environments.
• Strong background designing APIs, integrations and distributed systems.
• Ability to influence technical direction without direct line‑management authority.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
