Software Engineer – Full-stack (Node.js/NestJS & React)

About the role

We are looking for a strong software developer to join Syndi, a UK‑based startup modernising the lottery syndicate experience. The role involves building and enhancing core product features across both frontend and backend, with a focus on onboarding, payments, subscriptions, and platform reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features using Node.js, NestJS and React.js.
• Integrate third‑party services such as payment gateways, authentication providers and analytics platforms.
• Write clean, reliable, and maintainable code while ensuring performance, security and scalability.
• Debug production issues and continuously improve system reliability.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving startup environment.
