Software Engineer Internship

About the role

Coram AI is reimagining video security with a cloud‑native platform that combines computer vision and AI. We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our core team and help build the systems that power real‑time video intelligence, from data ingestion to AI‑driven search and detection.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI‑native features such as natural‑language video search, real‑time detections, and multimodal LLM‑based workflows.
• Ingest, process, and serve video and sensor data at scale using Golang and Python.
• Build user‑facing front‑ends with TypeScript and React, collaborating directly with product owners.
• Design and implement APIs that connect ML pipelines to edge‑device fleets.
• Contribute to infrastructure using Kubernetes on AWS and Pulumi for IaC.
• Work on distributed, high‑availability systems for real‑time processing.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals in at least one modern language and willingness to learn others.
• Evidence of building projects (side projects, internships, open‑source contributions, hackathons).
• Genuine curiosity about AI and its future directions.
• Resilience to thrive in a fast‑paced environment where solutions are often unknown.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work onsite for the full internship duration.
