Software Engineer – Java/Go (2+ yrs) – Hybrid

About the role

Cirata Symphony is building an intelligent data orchestration platform that moves petabytes of data across on‑premises, cloud and multi‑cloud environments. As a Software Engineer on the Symphony team you will develop core backend services that enable real‑time data movement, replication and orchestration for regulated enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain backend services in Java and Go that orchestrate live data flows across storage systems such as HDFS, S3, ADLS, GCS, Apache Iceberg, Databricks and Snowflake.
• Build replication and synchronization pipelines handling petabyte‑scale volumes with low latency.
• Develop governance and audit subsystems to provide compliance‑grade security, lineage tracking and access controls.
• Create internal tooling and automation to improve reliability, observability and developer experience.
• Write unit, integration and performance tests to ensure zero‑downtime product delivery.
• Integrate MCP/AI workflows that unlock customer data.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience writing production‑grade Java and/or Go code.
• Strong understanding of concurrent programming and object‑oriented principles.
• Experience designing or consuming REST APIs and solid grasp of HTTP semantics.
• Proficiency with Git, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in Linux environments.
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude or Cursor as part of daily workflow.
