Software Engineer – Node.js, TypeScript & GraphQL

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers and leadership to design solutions while balancing technical and operational trade‑offs.
• Partner with cross‑functional engineering teams to improve efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Own key stages of the development lifecycle—from design and implementation to testing, security, and maintenance.
• Embed testing and security standards into all software produced by the team.
• Participate in an engineering community of practice to share knowledge and best practices.
• Engage in development methodologies such as pair programming, code reviews, documentation reviews and continuous delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Node.js (backend focus), JavaScript/TypeScript and GraphQL.
• Track record of building scalable, highly available services and products.
• Experience designing and maintaining build, test and deployment pipelines for robust software delivery.
• Knowledge of security engineering practices and methods.
• Creative problem‑solver who can organise a team around challenges.
• Comfortable working with agile and lean methodologies.
• Active learner in both technical and professional domains.
